Technology Service Specialist

About the role

Lane Crawford, a renowned luxury department store, is seeking a Technology Service Specialist to provide vital IT support for its critical trading, settlement, and reporting applications. You will become a system expert, managing daily operations, resolving complex issues, and handling application releases.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support for enterprise applications and platforms.
• Respond promptly to incidents, usage inquiries, and service requests via phone, email, or ticketing system.
• Own troubleshooting and resolution of production incidents, escalating to higher‑tier support when needed.
• Maintain detailed, trackable ticket histories with technical information.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and coordinate with IT teams or vendors for permanent fixes.
• Monitor vendor performance, escalating issues to ensure service‑level compliance.
• Develop and maintain documentation of manual operations and procedures.
• Participate in after‑hours emergency support, including occasional weekend work for patches and maintenance.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 1‑3 years of application support experience preferred; fresh graduates are also welcome.
• Proficiency in SQL and SQL scripting (mandatory).
• Strong logical and analytical skills with the ability to understand enterprise‑grade application architecture.
• Fluency in written and verbal English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
