Trust and Corporate Services Consultant

About the role

Sovereign Trust (Hong Kong) Limited, the TCSP licensed Hong Kong subsidiary of The Sovereign Group, is looking for a Trust and Corporate Services Consultant reporting to its Managing Director. The role is a client-facing business development position covering the Asia Pacific region and Hong Kong, leading initial introductions and building relationships with clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop corporate services and trust business across the Asia Pacific region and Hong Kong
• Lead initial introductions and act as a client-facing point of contact
• Create and manage referral networks through banks, law firms and accounting firms for family, corporate and high-net-worth trust and trust administration work
• Deliver trust seminars in mainland China locations with regular travel to China and the region
• Build relationships with the existing client portfolio and cross-sell to the Tax, Trust and Accounting teams
• Report to and advise senior managers and directors

Required profile

• Over 4 years of Trust and Corporate Services experience, at least 2 in a sales and relationship management role
• Degree holder, preferably in Law or Accountancy; Qualified Chartered Company Secretary and STEP membership or qualification preferred
• Strong PRC networks for developing China-based corporate services and trust business
• Ability to work unsupervised, with strategic thinking, attention to detail and excellent commercial flair
• English, Cantonese and Mandarin preferred

Required skills

• Relationship management and networking with banks, lawyers and accountants
• Strong presentation skills for trust seminars
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of accounting regulations
