Vice President, APAC Tax

About the role

We are looking for a Vice President to lead our APAC tax function. The role partners with business units worldwide, providing tax compliance, advisory, and strategic support across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the APAC quarterly and annual tax provision process, including deferred tax calculations and related financial reporting.
• Drive the transition of the APAC tax provision process into the TRCS system and identify opportunities for automation and standardisation.
• Manage the regional ETR forecast and analysis, consolidating results into the global process via the CorpTax system.
• Collaborate with regional tax teams, financial controllers, and accounting policy owners.
• Support regional projects such as business unit initiatives, capital restructurings, and legal entity transactions.
• Strengthen controls, document processes, and establish governance where required.
• Initially supervise a team of two tax professionals.

Required profile

• Strong tax accounting expertise with experience in both US GAAP and IFRS.
• CPA or equivalent qualification with at least 10 years of relevant experience in an accounting firm or in‑house tax/finance department.
• Familiarity with CorpTax and TRCS systems is a plus.
• Risk‑focused, process‑driven mindset with solid project‑management capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders across regions.
