Account Manager – Data Center Solutions

About the role

We are looking for an Account Manager to drive growth of our Data Center Solutions portfolio in Hong Kong. The role focuses on building long‑term relationships with key customers, identifying new opportunities and delivering tailored proposals that leverage the full Vertiv offering.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong, long‑term relationships with key clients, stakeholders and decision‑makers in the data‑centre industry.
• Identify, evaluate and pursue new business opportunities to increase revenue and market share.
• Deliver compelling solution presentations and proposals tailored to customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Pre‑Sales, Factory, Project Management and Operations teams to ensure seamless solution delivery and high customer satisfaction.
• Provide trusted advisory support to management, factory partners and engineering teams to optimise the end‑to‑end customer experience.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and emerging technologies to inform sales strategies.
• Prepare and present regular sales forecasts, pipeline reports and business reviews to management.
• Handle ad‑hoc duties and special projects as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of sales experience in data‑centre infrastructure, critical power or cooling solutions.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts in a B2B environment.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Self‑motivated team player able to work independently and build lasting relationships.
• Fluent in Cantonese and English; Mandarin is a strong advantage.
