Analyst - Control Room Compliance

About the role

Macquarie Group is hiring an Analyst for its Compliance Control Room in Hong Kong. The team protects the integrity of the business across Asia by performing core control room functions and equities research compliance, within a global team that also takes part in projects and continuous improvement such as system uplifts and process automation.

Key responsibilities

• Support the integrity of the firm's information barriers
• Monitor transactional and non-transactional material non-public information
• Advise on cross-group interaction and facilitate wall-crossings
• Manage and monitor restrictions on research and trading activities, including reviewing research materials against regulations and internal requirements
• Support the team in advising and training the equities research team in Asia

Required profile

• Relevant industry experience
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to complete time-sensitive tasks
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, handle confidential information and escalate issues maturely
• Energy and enthusiasm to learn and grow
