Base Maintenance Manager, Onwing Structure Support

About the role

The Base Maintenance Manager, Onwing Structure Support, leads the Onwing Structure Support (OSS) functions at HAECO Hong Kong. The role ensures safe, compliant, timely and cost‑effective support for base maintenance, line maintenance and component repair activities.

Key responsibilities

• Accountable for safety, quality, operational delivery and cost discipline within the OSS scope, adhering to HAECO policies and HKCAD/EASA/FAA regulations.
• Implement OSS policies, recommend staffing, training, facility and equipment development.
• Oversee Aircraft Appearance, OSS Repair Order and OSS Centre of Excellence teams, ensuring efficient painting, cleaning, damage assessment and repair coordination.
• Maintain sufficient competent personnel, tools, equipment, materials and approved data before work acceptance.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and drive continuous improvement, resource optimisation and technology adoption.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, MRO, production management, support‑shop or airline technical operations.
• Management experience strongly preferred.
• Recognised degree in engineering, aviation, business management or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to lead a multicultural, multi‑skill production support team.
