Business Development Manager - Cantonese Speaker (Fully Remote)

About the role

CoverGo, a global insurtech platform for health, life and property & casualty insurance, is looking for a driven Business Development Manager to accelerate its growth globally. The role identifies new opportunities, builds relationships with industry stakeholders and drives the end-to-end sales process for the platform within the insurance ecosystem. It is fully remote and requires a candidate based in Hong Kong.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities across the insurance space
• Research target clients to understand their business models, challenges and opportunities
• Engage with senior stakeholders at insurers, consulting firms and system integrators to build long-term relationships
• Lead discovery conversations and position tailored solutions that show the value of the CoverGo platform
• Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and outreach to deal closure and handover
• Use CRM platforms, data intelligence tools and social selling channels to build a quality pipeline
• Work with regional leadership on strategy and execution, and represent the company at industry events and conferences

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in B2B SaaS or technology sales, preferably in insurance or insurtech
• Strong understanding of insurance processes and supporting technologies (SaaS platforms, IT systems)
• Excellent written and spoken English, and fluency in Cantonese (Mandarin is a strong advantage)
• Ability to manage complex sales cycles and consistently meet or exceed targets
• Existing network in the insurance industry, particularly health insurance, managed care or employee benefits, is a strong advantage
