Business Development Representative – APAC

About the role

Avantex Solutions is expanding rapidly across the Asia‑Pacific region and is looking for a Business Development Representative to drive outbound prospecting and pipeline generation for its suite of ERP, MES and supply‑chain software solutions. Reporting to the Strategic Sales Director, Asia, you will be the first point of contact with potential customers in the apparel, textile and footwear manufacturing sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute targeted outbound campaigns using phone, email, LinkedIn and industry networks to reach C‑suite and VP‑level buyers.
• Map complex enterprise buying centres, identify economic buyers and technical evaluators, and qualify leads against enterprise criteria.
• Conduct discovery calls to uncover operational pain points and schedule qualified meetings and product demos for the sales director.
• Research regional manufacturing clusters, maintain up‑to‑date account intelligence and adapt outreach messaging to local supply‑chain contexts.
• Keep the CRM accurate and up‑to‑date, track activity metrics and report pipeline progress in weekly reviews.
• Collaborate closely with the Strategic Sales Director and other functions to refine target lists, share market feedback and ensure smooth hand‑offs of qualified opportunities.

Required profile

• Comfortable making cold calls and creating multi‑touch outreach sequences.
• Strong analytical mindset for mapping large, multi‑plant organisations and identifying decision‑makers.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor value propositions to regional manufacturing realities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM tools for data entry, tracking and reporting.
