Client Manager / Assistant Vice President – Risk Management

About the role

Marsh is seeking a talented professional to join its Risk Management team in Hong Kong. You will manage a portfolio of large multinational clients, providing insurance program renewal support and daily client service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of large multinational clients, handling insurance program renewals and daily inquiries.
• Understand client risk exposures and deliver insurance solutions, expanding the portfolio with new products and advisory services.
• Collaborate with Marsh placement, specialty, claims and risk consulting teams on renewals and solutions.
• Interact regularly with clients, addressing coverage questions, program adjustments, and account issues.
• Coordinate with Marsh network offices to ensure local service standards are met.
• Responsible for account profitability, budgeting, receivables, and implementation of Marsh Professional Standards.
• Coach team members to deliver timely, focused customer service.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in insurance, risk management or a related field.
• IIQE or ANZIIF qualification.
• 6+ years of experience in general insurance; experience selling to the education industry is a plus.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, dedicated and flexible.
• Strong time‑management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
