Construction Manager - Data Centre

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Manager to lead the delivery of data centre projects across Malaysia and Hong Kong. The role oversees planning, coordination and execution of construction activities, ensuring safety, quality, schedule and budget targets are met.

Key responsibilities

• Champion a robust safety culture and work closely with the Health and Safety Manager.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules and progress tracking from inception to hand‑over.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, general contractors and internal teams to define project goals, objectives and performance criteria.
• Oversee all construction phases, including design development, procurement, site execution and close‑out.
• Select, negotiate and manage contractors while ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations and industry standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or a related field (relevant experience may substitute).
• Proven experience as a construction or project manager, preferably on data centre projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, methodologies and best practices.
• Familiarity with data centre design, infrastructure and MEP systems.
• Excellent English communication skills; additional regional language is a plus.
