About the role

The Director, In‑Region Technical Development leads the APAC Product Creation and In‑Geo Technical Development teams, translating product intent into high‑quality, scalable apparel while accelerating speed‑to‑market and strengthening vendor capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Own the strategy and execution of in‑geo product and technical development, aligning with seasonal commercialization timelines and global standards.
• Lead APAC finished‑goods commercialization, delivering manufacturable solutions that balance performance, cost, sustainability, and speed.
• Act as the primary in‑geo decision‑maker and partner to global Product Development leaders, advancing regional capabilities and ensuring on‑time commercialization.
• Collaborate with Women’s, Men’s, and Accessories Product Development leaders to accelerate new style development.
• Build and execute vendor capability and network strategies, onboarding new partners to expand capacity and technical expertise.
• Drive vendor performance through continuous‑improvement initiatives, robust process controls, and strategic partnerships.
• Partner with Quality to embed testing protocols, risk assessments, and preventative controls from lab through bulk production.
• Provide heightened oversight and final sample approval for high‑risk styles to ensure technical readiness.
