Engage Investment Specialist – Taiwan Market (VP) – Hong Kong

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join JP Morgan as an Engage Investment Specialist focused on the Taiwan market, based in Hong Kong. The role supports Private Bank bankers in acquiring new ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients and deepening relationships with existing ones through tailored investment advice.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the advisory investment dialogue with clients, delivering holistic asset‑allocation and portfolio construction guidance.
• Collaborate with Global Investors and Bankers to manage advisory client portfolios across multiple asset classes.
• Execute investment solutions—including investment management, mutual funds, evergreen alternatives and brokerage transactions—in line with client plans.
• Conduct regular investment reviews, validate objectives and prepare proactive recommendations within the Engage platform framework.
• Strengthen client relationships by introducing appropriate solutions that meet their goals and risk profile.
• Manage internal controls pre‑ and post‑trade and ensure compliance with the advisory framework.
• Maintain deep knowledge of JPMorgan’s platforms, solutions and investment philosophy.

Required profile

• Proven track record of building trust with ultra‑high‑net‑worth clients and managing internal and external relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of investment advisory experience at a private bank serving UHNW clients.
• Strong knowledge of a broad range of investment products and multi‑asset portfolio sales.
• Understanding of private‑banking regulatory and control environments.
• Excellent organizational, prioritization and teamwork abilities.
• High integrity, risk awareness and ability to operate across business functions.
• Fluency in Mandarin; Min Nan Yu a plus.
