Head of Finance

About the role

The bank in Hong Kong is looking for a senior finance leader to oversee its regional finance function. Reporting to senior management, the Head of Finance will shape strategic financial planning and ensure robust control across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior management to contribute to group‑wide strategic planning and decision‑making.
• Lead regional financial reporting, ensuring compliance with policies, systems and procedures.
• Oversee treasury activities and drive financing transactions for the group.
• Implement finance and controlling systems aligned with the company’s vision.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, accounting standards and provide tax, accounting and legal contract advice.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 years of finance experience, preferably within banking.
• Strong academic background with a finance or accounting degree from a reputable university.
• Proven track record in a regional finance role.
• Excellent stakeholder management and flexibility.
• Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of PRC GAAP and IFRS.
• Experience with Big 4 audit and advisory practices.
