Head of Sales (BMS, ELV and Fire)

About the role

Johnson Controls is looking for a Head of Sales to lead its Building Management Systems (BMS), ELV, Fire Detection & Protection and Integrated Building Solutions businesses in Hong Kong. You will drive the overall sales strategy, business growth and market expansion, aiming to achieve revenue, profitability and market share targets while building a high-performing sales organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the sales strategy for BMS, ELV, Fire & Security businesses to achieve sustainable, profitable growth.
• Drive market penetration and expand opportunities across commercial buildings, data centres, healthcare, transportation, education, government and industrial sectors.
• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team, fostering accountability, collaboration and customer-centredness.
• Build strong relationships with key customers, consultants, developers, contractors, end-users and strategic partners.
• Identify emerging market trends and customer needs to shape go-to-market strategies.
• Work closely with Service, Operations, Engineering, Project Delivery and Product teams to ensure successful execution and customer satisfaction.
• Manage sales forecasting, pipeline health, business reviews and strategic account planning.
• Ensure achievement of annual revenue, gross margin and cash collection targets.

Required profile

• Degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Building Services or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent, with deep knowledge and experience of sales strategy and execution at country level.
• More than 10 years' experience in sales management and operations.
• Able to work effectively in a matrix organisation.
• Strong leadership, influencing, internal and external communication skills.
• Able to deliver results under constraints of resources, time and budget.
• Effective spoken and written English and Chinese.
