Internal Control Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Internal Control Manager to lead LVMH’s internal control and audit activities across Greater China. The role combines oversight of control assessments, store and headquarters audits, and support for business process optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the annual internal control assessment campaign (ERICA), guiding business owners through self‑assessment and independently testing control design and efficiency.
• Define and monitor action plans to remediate control deficiencies, ensuring timely closure.
• Partner with business owners to optimise processes, troubleshoot issues and develop new procedures.
• Plan and execute the yearly audit roadmap, conducting regular store audits and headquarters audits based on identified risks.
• Create follow‑up plans for audit findings and drive corrective actions.
• Promote control awareness, share best practices and documentation with local and global internal control communities.
• Provide regular updates on control status to local and HQ management.
• Perform ad‑hoc compliance and risk‑assessment tasks as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, accounting or management controlling.
• At least 7 years of combined experience in an audit firm and internal audit/internal control, preferably in retail.
• Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills to drive cross‑functional collaboration.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and organisational abilities with high attention to detail.
• Fluency in English and Chinese (written and spoken); Mandarin proficiency.
• Willingness to travel frequently across Greater China.
