IT Support Engineer

About the role

Veolia Hong Kong Holding Limited, part of the Veolia Group, is looking for an IT Support Engineer based in Fanling. Reporting to the IT Infrastructure Manager or Senior IT Support Engineer, the role supports day-to-day IT operations, system updates and administration so that IT services remain reliable.

Key responsibilities

• Support monitoring and maintenance of IT infrastructures, networks, servers and cloud services.
• Assist in implementing and managing cybersecurity and data protection procedures under guidance.
• Support incident response and security threat remediation under supervision.
• Assist with IT infrastructure projects and digital transformation initiatives.
• Support vendor and stakeholder communication activities.
• Follow professional IT management practices and compliance rules, and stay aware of current IT infrastructure practices and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Information Technology, or relevant IT certifications (or currently pursuing).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT support or IT infrastructure, or a recent graduate with relevant coursework.
• Ability to develop and maintain technical documentation.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with team members.
• Written and spoken English; Cantonese and Mandarin a plus.

Required skills

• Cloud knowledge and willingness to develop expertise.
• Preferred: CompTIA A+, Network+ or entry-level cloud certifications.
• Familiarity with TCP/IP networking, Windows AD, VMware, AWS or similar technologies.
