Project Engineer – AV Integration

About the role

As a Project Engineer you will lead the technical delivery of audio‑visual integration projects, ensuring designs are complete, feasible and ready for installation. You will work closely with project managers, fabrication teams and field technicians to translate customer requirements into detailed engineering documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Review preliminary design documents and Scope of Work to validate quality, completeness and feasibility.
• Identify technical or logistical challenges and address them during kickoff meetings.
• Create engineering documents with the CAD team, including infrastructure drawings, floor plans, ceiling plans, equipment placement layouts, riser diagrams and elevations.
• Generate cable pull sheets and coordinate network requirements.
• Perform heat, power and structural calculations.
• Finalize the Bill of Materials by auditing and approving line items.
• Provide Project Manager with engineering documents for submittal packages.
• Monitor project budgets and identify personnel needs for installation.
• Deliver technical updates on project progress and challenges.
• Assemble as‑built drawings and programming files for project closeout.
