Quality Assurance Lead

About the role

The Quality Assurance Lead reports to the Quality Engineering Manager and provides leadership for the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of quality functions across one or more sites. This role drives operational excellence through metrics, root‑cause analysis, and corrective action planning, ensuring compliance with local and regional accreditation requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of quality metrics, statistical process controls, and internal audit programs.
• Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean Six Sigma projects, across local, regional, and enterprise levels.
• Support the Quality Engineering Manager by providing guidance on accreditation, regulatory compliance, and internal quality audits.
• Resolve enterprise‑wide non‑conformances by coordinating root‑cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Train, mentor, and cross‑train department staff to optimize resources and build capability.
• Maintain and promote the Quality Management System (policies, processes, procedures, tools, and controls) at assigned sites.

Required profile

• University degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Approximately six years of experience in Quality Engineering, including at least one year in a leadership role.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive process improvement.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data‑driven decision making.
