Quantitative Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Quantitative Engineer to join a leading quantitative trading firm. You will work on high‑performance software that powers our trading strategies, collaborating closely with quantitative researchers to turn mathematical models into reliable production systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production‑grade software and applications used in live trading.
• Partner with Quantitative Researchers to translate research requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Monitor system performance, diagnose issues, and ensure high availability in production environments.
• Enhance the performance, stability, and reliability of existing trading platforms.
• Participate in system design, development, testing, and continuous improvement cycles.
• Create internal tools that boost engineering efficiency and streamline workflows.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 2‑5 years of professional experience in quantitative development, software engineering, or a similar technical role.
• Demonstrated ability to work on performance‑sensitive, production‑grade systems.

Required skills

• Strong programming proficiency in C++ or Python.
• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems and software development best practices.
• Experience with version control (Git), code review processes, CI/CD pipelines, and software testing.
