Regional HR Director – Asia Pacific

About the role

The Regional HR Director will lead the people agenda across the Asia Pacific region for a global information services organisation. Reporting to executive leadership, you will shape organisational capability, drive talent strategies and ensure the workforce supports ongoing growth and transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, translating business priorities into talent and organisational strategies.
• Lead workforce planning, organisational design, change management and business transformation initiatives.
• Oversee regional talent management, succession planning and leadership development to build strong pipelines.
• Design and implement compensation, incentive and performance‑linked reward frameworks while maintaining market competitiveness and internal equity.
• Champion employee engagement, wellbeing and inclusive culture programmes across multiple countries.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation, manage employee relations matters and mitigate HR risks in partnership with legal and finance.
• Provide leadership to a regional HR team, including one direct report and five country HR leaders.

Required profile

• Extensive experience leading HR functions across a multi‑country region, preferably in the Asia Pacific.
• Proven ability to partner with senior executives and influence strategic decisions.
• Strong background in organisational design, change management and talent development.
• Expertise in compensation strategy, rewards administration and performance management.
• Deep knowledge of employment law and HR governance across diverse jurisdictions.
