Senior Account Manager, Insurance Broking

About the role

Mercer is looking for a Senior Account Manager to join its MMB team in Hong Kong. This hybrid position requires at least three days a week in the office and focuses on managing insurance programs, renewals and client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage renewals, new business opportunities and expansion of existing accounts.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, carriers and internal service teams.
• Design, market and negotiate insurance programs with carriers, prepare proposals and attend client meetings.
• Provide day‑to‑day service, advise clients on program changes and maintain accurate client information.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent qualifications.
• 7+ years of experience in insurance broking.
• Strong commercial acumen, negotiation and client‑vendor management skills.
• Ability to mentor and develop team members.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
