Senior Enterprise DevOps Architect

About the role

We are looking for a senior‑level DevOps architect to define and govern the automation strategy for a highly regulated financial ecosystem. As the ultimate subject‑matter expert, you will shape the enterprise DevOps blueprint, drive CI/CD adoption, and ensure seamless, secure software delivery at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design, document, and maintain the enterprise DevOps architecture and governance framework.
• Build highly scalable, IaC‑driven continuous build and deployment environments.
• Serve as the domain SME for tooling such as GitHub Enterprise, HashiCorp Vault, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Evaluate, design, and integrate advanced automation solutions to eliminate operational bottlenecks.
• Champion DevOps practices across cross‑functional teams and align them with the broader IT operating model.
• Monitor emerging technologies—including cloud platforms, distributed ledger technology, and FinTech innovations—and provide strategic recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• At least 10 years of IT infrastructure and engineering experience, with a minimum of 5 years in an architectural role.
• Experience in a tier‑1 financial institution is strongly preferred.
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Cantonese; Mandarin is a plus.

Required skills

• CI/CD pipeline design and automation (Jenkins, ArgoCD, Sonatype).
• Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools: Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet.
• Version control and collaboration platforms: GitHub Enterprise.
• Secrets management: HashiCorp Vault.
• Linux/Unix system administration.
• Scripting/programming: Python, Golang, NodeJS, Ruby, shell scripting.
• Strong understanding of cloud architectures and FinTech/DLT concepts.
