Senior Java Developer – Exchange Service

About the role

Join Binance’s Exchange Service team to design, develop, and maintain core trading platform components that serve millions of users worldwide. As a senior Java engineer you will work on high‑impact crypto products and ensure the platform remains fast, reliable, and secure.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement crypto‑related products such as fiat gateways, futures, margin and lending services.
• Build and scale large‑volume software systems that affect daily activity of millions of customers.
• Upgrade underlying infrastructure and architecture, perform performance tuning, and troubleshoot online incidents.
• Refactor codebases, enforce engineering best practices, and write clean, maintainable Java code.
• Mentor junior engineers, lead knowledge‑sharing sessions, and collaborate across teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong ability to work under pressure and quickly acquire new technical knowledge.
• Excellent cross‑team communication skills.

Required skills

• Core Java proficiency.
• Experience with the Spring Framework.
• Strong MySQL knowledge and familiarity with at least one NoSQL database.
• Design of distributed systems and familiarity with messaging middleware (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
