Structural Engineer

About the role

Join Aurecon’s Infrastructure business as a Structural Engineer, working on a diverse range of projects from rural access roads to complex freeways, toll roads, interchanges and water‑security schemes. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary specialists to deliver high‑quality structural and geotechnical solutions for clients worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Undertake and project‑manage structural and geotechnical engineering schemes from feasibility through detailed design.
• Liaise with clients, authorities, contractors and architects, attending meetings as required.
• Prepare designs that comply with Building Department, Housing Authority and Architectural Services requirements.
• Utilise structural analysis software to produce sound, quality‑assured designs.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Structural or Civil Engineering.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in structural design.
• Strong desire to innovate and collaborate on complex infrastructure projects.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining high quality standards.
• Good organisational and project‑management capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with structural analysis software.
