Supervisor II – Railway Infrastructure Maintenance

About the role

We are seeking a Supervisor II to lead the Railway Protection and Infrastructure Maintenance teams, ensuring the safe and efficient upkeep of railway civil assets across Hong Kong.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organise, supervise and execute engineering activities for railway structures, buildings, tunnels, slopes, retaining walls, noise barriers, drainage, and related civil facilities.
• Conduct structural inspections, investigations, preventive and corrective maintenance, and emergency repairs.
• Coordinate with internal departments, government agencies, private developers and consultants to deliver work on time and within budget.
• Maintain and improve maintenance procedures to reduce costs while enhancing safety and productivity.
• Perform regular patrols of construction sites and railway lines within the protection boundary to ensure safety and integrity.
• Carry out railway safety duties for external parties working on railway premises.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Civil, Structural or Construction Engineering or a related field.
• At least 6 years of relevant experience, including a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Valid Hong Kong driving licence (class 1 and 2 preferred).
• Proficiency in English and Chinese.
• Arborist certification (International Society of Arboriculture) is an advantage.
• Ability to work shifts, in adverse weather and during emergencies.
