Technical Support Engineer

About the role

The Technical Support Engineer will sit at the heart of mission‑critical trading and cloud infrastructure, providing first‑line assistance to global financial technology clients. You will work with cutting‑edge platforms, resolve real‑time technical issues, and collaborate with senior teams to ensure service continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line support via call‑logging tools and on‑site assistance for incidents and service requests.
• Log, monitor, and update incident tickets, escalating to third‑line or external suppliers when required.
• Communicate resolution timelines to customers and manage expectations.
• Perform TCP/IP, LAN/WAN troubleshooting and resolve network connectivity problems.
• Build, configure, and maintain desktop and laptop hardware (HP/Dell) for end users.
• Participate in on‑call and out‑of‑hours support rotations.

Required profile

• Motivated, self‑driven individual with a passion for learning in the fintech space.
• Minimum 1 year of desktop support experience, preferably in a financial services environment.
• Relevant degree or equivalent qualification in an IT‑related field.
