Technician (Electrical & Mechanical)

About the role

The Technician (Electrical & Mechanical) will ensure the smooth operation of all electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems at Eaton Workshop, a cultural hub hotel in Hong Kong. The role involves routine maintenance, rapid response to guest requests and compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems throughout the hotel.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on switchboards, lighting, pumps, ventilation and air‑conditioning units.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guest rooms and public areas, fixing faulty equipment.
• Ensure all work complies with hotel safety standards and local building regulations.
• Assist with emergency system failures and carry out ad‑hoc tasks assigned by management.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of electrical & mechanical maintenance experience, preferably in a hotel or commercial property.
• Holder of a Mandatory Basic Safety Training Certificate (Green Card); a valid Registered Electrical Worker License (Grade A or above) is preferred.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Good command of Cantonese, basic English and Mandarin.
