Assistant Vice President - Casualty Placement

About the role

Marsh Risk is seeking an experienced professional to join its Casualty Placement team in Hong Kong. You will use deep risk expertise and market knowledge to develop placement solutions that meet client needs and drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement placement strategies, including go‑to‑market plans and pricing support.
• Facilitate submission of coverage specifications, obtain quotes, bind coverage and ensure accuracy of placement binders.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, carriers, underwriters and internal practice teams to deliver cohesive service.
• Monitor market conditions, advise client executives on developments, and support client retention and new business production.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in P&C insurance broking or casualty underwriting.
• Proven negotiation skills with underwriters to secure optimal terms for clients.
• Strong understanding of policies, contracts and facilities within the Hong Kong brokerage market.
• Excellent organizational, presentation and interpersonal abilities.
