Director, Specialist Sales – SME Segment

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Director to lead specialist sales for the Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) segment in Greater China. Based in Hong Kong, you will partner with banks, fintechs, payment service providers and merchants to grow and protect Mastercard’s payment portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities with leading partners in the SME segment.
• Drive strategic partnerships and provide deep sales expertise to support partner growth.
• Lead strategy, sales management, solution design, analysis, reporting and best‑practice sharing for VCN, prepaid, debit and credit card products.
• Collaborate with the Asia‑Pacific regional SME organization to meet GDV, new‑customer, market‑share and revenue targets.
• Work cross‑functionally with account teams, digital, marketing, loyalty, finance, pricing, legal and customer delivery to launch initiatives.
• Strengthen strategic partner relationships and uncover new business opportunities.
• Provide consultative sales leadership and champion digital enablement.

Required profile

• Director‑level experience leading commercial sales initiatives.
• Proven ability to work with internal and external partners across functions.
• Track record of achieving revenue, market‑share and growth targets.
