Director, Treasury Marketing & Sales – Global Markets

About the role

This senior leadership position is responsible for driving sales and revenue growth of treasury products across a global markets division. The role focuses on building strong client relationships, providing market insights, and ensuring regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales and revenue growth for treasury products such as FX, structured deposits, hedging solutions, and liquidity management.
• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate, commercial, and high‑net‑worth clients.
• Provide market insights and advisory services on treasury, investment, and wealth‑management solutions.
• Partner with Relationship Managers to identify cross‑selling opportunities and increase client wallet share.
• Lead business‑development initiatives and acquire new‑to‑bank clients.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Required profile

• Tertiary degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline.
• 10‑15 years of relevant experience in treasury sales, financial markets, or wealth management within a bank.
• Strong knowledge of treasury, investment and financial‑market products.
• Proven track record in business development and revenue generation.
• Excellent client relationship, communication and presentation abilities.
• Professional qualifications such as CFA or CFP and SFC/HKMA licensing are advantageous.
• Leadership and management experience with the ability to mentor team members.
