Equity Research Analyst (QES)

About the role

DV Equities, the Asia-Pacific equities and futures market-making business of DV Trading, is looking for an Equity Research Analyst. The analyst stays up to date with real-time news and market developments so that timely insights and analysis can feed into the trading team's decision-making.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with traders and other analysts to share significant market events instantly.
• Analyze broad macro trends, monitor geopolitical developments and dig deep into company financials.
• Build and maintain detailed company and market databases.

Required profile

• Fluent English and Mandarin, working hours 7am to 5pm.
• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics/Statistics or a related field, with 1-3 years of experience.
• Independent problem solver with a strong interest in news and market movements and their impact on trading.
• Strong work ethic and ability to adapt quickly in a demanding, high-pressure environment.
• Prior buy-side or sell-side research experience is beneficial.

Required skills

• Strong technical proficiency in Excel and experience with Bloomberg or Reuters.
• Knowledge of SQL, Python or other programming languages is useful.
