Global Controlling & Strategy Internship – Dispersions & Resins

About the role

This 6‑month full‑time internship is part of the Performance Management and Strategic Controlling team in BASF’s Dispersions & Resins division. You will support monthly reporting, build financial dashboards with Power BI and help analyse financial trends and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Support regular management reporting to senior management of the global division.
• Develop and maintain financial dashboards using Power BI to turn data into actionable insights.
• Assist digitalisation initiatives for reporting and analysis tools.
• Conduct financial trend and variance analysis to identify growth and efficiency opportunities.
• Contribute to ad‑hoc assignments and projects supporting controlling and strategic initiatives.
• Participate in global meetings and collaborate with leaders across regions.

Required profile

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Accounting, Finance, Business Analytics or a related field.
• Available for a 6‑month full‑time internship starting mid‑July 2026.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Power BI.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
• Self‑starter with accountability, critical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
