Associate/Senior Associate, Financial Restructuring

About the role

Interpath Advisory is seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join its Financial Restructuring team in Hong Kong. You will work on a broad range of restructuring and financial advisory engagements, supporting businesses, lenders, investors and other stakeholders through periods of financial and operational challenge.

Key responsibilities

• Participate actively in engagements, analysing financial and operational information to identify key issues, risks and opportunities.
• Support the assessment of restructuring and strategic options, including cash‑flow forecasting, liquidity management and turnaround planning.
• Prepare financial models, presentations and reports to aid client and stakeholder decision‑making.
• Act as a point of contact for clients on specific assignment areas and maintain strong client relationships.
• Contribute to business development activities and the growth of the Financial Restructuring team.

Required profile

• Strong academic record in Accountancy, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
• 1‑3 years of experience in professional services, financial advisory, restructuring, transaction services or audit.
• Currently studying towards or interested in a professional qualification such as CA, HKICPA, CPA or equivalent.
• Fluent business‑level English and proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills with financial modelling experience.
• Strong PowerPoint abilities for creating presentations.
