Business Development Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a background in logistics or tech‑logistics. This individual contributor will join our Enterprise sales team and drive new revenue opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve financial targets and develop sales strategies to improve revenue and profit margins.
• Identify and cultivate new business opportunities, building relationships with prospective clients.
• Use a consultative approach to discuss client challenges and produce formal quotes, proposals, or presentations.
• Respond to RFPs, follow up with prospects, and stay current on industry trends and competitive landscape.
• Participate in trade shows and promotional events, and develop account plans tailored to customer needs.
• Recommend marketing strategies for assigned accounts and provide regular status updates, forecasts, and pipeline information.
• Strengthen relationships with existing accounts and expand into new divisions to increase share of wallet.

Required profile

• Degree in supply chain, logistics, business or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of sales experience in e‑commerce logistics, warehousing, trucking, courier or freight forwarding.
• Proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and strong negotiation skills.
• Ability to communicate with senior managers and work under pressure.
• Highly motivated, organized, team‑player with excellent communication abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic familiarity with AI tools (a plus).
