Corporate Accountant – Hospitality

About the role

The Corporate Office of Langham Hospitality Group is seeking a diligent Accountant to manage month‑end closing, financial analysis, and budgeting activities across its global portfolio. You will work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end closing tasks, including AR, AP, GL, intercompany transactions, balance‑sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
• Prepare monthly financial analysis, supporting schedules, and variance reports.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and periodic financial projections.
• Maintain accounting records, update Oracle system master data, and support daily administrative tasks.
• Coordinate external audits, statutory reporting and tax compliance filings.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, accounting policies and corporate guidelines.
• Document business processes, workflow procedures and process diagrams.
• Participate in finance system enhancements, automation initiatives and process‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational or hospitality environment.
• Strong understanding of financial accounting principles and month‑end closing processes.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems, preferably Oracle Fusion.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
