About the role
The Counter Service Officer / Manager (Teller) works at the front line of ICBC (Asia) retail branches, handling customer transactions and delivering high‑quality service. This position supports both routine banking operations and the promotion of bank products to walk‑in clients.
Key responsibilities
- Process a wide range of customer transactions over the counter, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments.
- Provide accurate and courteous service to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Identify customer needs and promote relevant bank products and services.
- Maintain compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in training and supervising junior counter staff as needed.
Required profile
- Secondary education or higher.
- No prior experience required for entry‑level Counter Service Assistant.
- Minimum 1‑3 years of bank teller or counter service experience for Officer/Manager level.
- Customer‑oriented attitude with a pleasant demeanor.
- Good command of both Chinese and English.
