Director of Business Development – Corporate & Tech Sales

About the role

TransPerfect is seeking a dynamic Director of Business Development to lead its Corporate Team and drive technology sales. You will be responsible for building new client relationships, expanding the account base, and delivering revenue growth across a range of language and technology solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to generate new revenue and secure high‑value accounts.
• Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and qualification to negotiation and closing.
• Educate clients on TransPerfect’s service portfolio, competitive advantages, and technology platforms.
• Generate leads through cold calling, research, networking events, trade shows, and direct marketing.
• Manage pricing, contractual terms, and ensure compliance with internal procedures.
• Coordinate with production teams to quote, manage, and bill projects efficiently.
• Maintain professional communication with stakeholders at all levels.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of strategic business development experience in a B2B environment.
• Proven track record of managing complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles from lead generation to close.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
