Fixed-Income Account Manager (Hong Kong Subsidiary)

About the role

A top Chinese asset management institution is hiring a fixed-income account manager for its Hong Kong subsidiary. The role combines investment communication, client support and market intelligence, acting as the bridge between the investment team and institutional and retail clients.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain high-quality investment content such as pitch books, monthly and quarterly performance commentaries, market update notes and bespoke client presentations.
• Partner with institutional and retail sales teams on asset retention and acquisition, and respond quickly to complex client inquiries, due diligence questionnaires (DDQs) and RFPs.
• Monitor global macroeconomic indicators, central bank policies and credit spreads, and understand the competitive landscape to position USD and non-USD fixed income products against peers.
• Attend investment team meetings, turn credit analysts' and portfolio managers' technical quantitative and fundamental analysis into clear, client-ready narratives, and act as the proxy for Fixed Income Portfolio Managers in internal and external meetings.

Required profile

• 1-3 years of experience in financial services, in asset management sales, marketing, product strategy or investment research.
• Strong verbal and written communication, able to explain complex investment concepts clearly and concisely.
• High attention to detail and strong quantitative skills.

Required skills

• Baseline knowledge of fixed income instruments, bond math and macroeconomic drivers; familiarity with global interest rates, credit markets and currency strategies is highly preferred.
• Experience with financial data platforms such as Bloomberg, Macrobond and Morningstar.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
