Quantitative Researcher

About the role

Elity Global is hiring a Quantitative Researcher in Hong Kong for a full-time position in a proprietary trading environment. The role involves turning research into live strategies that move global markets, working alongside traders, mathematicians and computer scientists.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and refine quantitative models to identify and capture trading opportunities
• Collaborate with traders and engineers to turn research into production at scale
• Analyze large, complex datasets to extract alpha and improve execution
• Continuously innovate in areas such as market microstructure, risk management and automation

Required profile

• Exceptional analytical ability and a passion for solving complex problems
• Demonstrated excellence in a highly competitive academic or professional setting

Required skills

• Strong programming skills (Python, C++ or similar)
• Expertise in probability, statistics, optimization or machine learning
