Sales Specialist

About the role

HITACHI ENERGY HONG KONG LIMITED is looking for a Sales Specialist in Hong Kong to drive sales targets and build long-term customer relationships. The position is full-time and requires a bachelor's degree and cross-cultural communication skills.

Key responsibilities

• Sell products and systems to customers, focusing on volume, mix and profitability targets for assigned Business Units or Product Groups.
• Build and maintain customer relationships, understand their needs and present complete product, system and service offerings so they receive a positive experience.
• Prepare sales plans with company tools, run regular status reviews and propose recovery plans for potential order shortfalls.
• Use effective sales techniques to close transactions, contracts and proposals, communicating delivery times, payments and terms in line with Hitachi Energy's offering.
• Support marketing activities and identify and develop new market opportunities, sharing know-how across teams.
• Manage administrative procedures in sales, support collection and project management, and prepare offers with the bid and proposal department or Marketing Manager.
• Ensure compliance with external and internal regulations and uphold the company's values of safety and integrity.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above, in Electrical Engineering, or at least 5 years of sales experience in industry.
• Customer-focused attitude and effective communication.
• Able to work flexibly in a team and think and act systematically.
• Willingness to travel domestically frequently.
• Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese.
