Senior Manager, Business Development

About the role

Prudential is looking for a Senior Manager, Business Development to lead, develop and execute agent and client events that help drive productivity. The role covers end-to-end planning and follow-up of seminars and events, and includes ad hoc business development projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design and run end-to-end agent and client seminars and events, including project management, poster design and communication, and payment coordination.
• Coordinate and communicate with event stakeholders such as external speakers, professional partners, internal key parties and agents.
• Carry out post-event evaluation, analysis and follow-up into other business development activities.
• Propose suitable learning and development and client events for different agency segments based on business needs.
• Coordinate and populate the event calendar and planings.
• Handle ad hoc projects within the business development scope.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or above in Business, Finance, Economics, Insurance, Marketing, Wealth Management or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in event and project management.
• Fluent Cantonese and Mandarin.
• Proactive, mature, initiative-driven and customer service oriented.

Required skills

• MS Office, including PowerPoint and Excel.
• Chinese character typing.
• Good communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
