Senior Relationship Manager – Global Network Banking (Hong Kong)

About the role

Citi is seeking a Senior Relationship Manager for its Global Network Banking franchise in Hong Kong. The role focuses on managing and expanding relationships with local subsidiaries of multinational clients, particularly Greater China corporates establishing offshore treasury centres.

Key responsibilities

• Build and nurture trusted‑advisor relationships with key contacts at client subsidiaries.
• Develop deep understanding of each subsidiary’s business model, strategy and financial wallet to identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain high calling intensity and proactive coverage across the country.
• Design and execute comprehensive account plans aligned with both local subsidiary needs and global parent objectives.
• Originate and execute top‑revenue opportunities, driving wallet penetration and revenue growth.
• Collaborate with in‑country product specialists to deliver tailored banking solutions.
• Take ownership of revenue targets for an assigned portfolio and exceed annual goals.
• Mentor junior bankers on client needs and business opportunity identification.

Required profile

• Proven track record in managing corporate client relationships within the banking sector.
• Deep knowledge of the Hong Kong operating environment and experience expanding franchise for Greater China corporates.
• Strong credit acumen and ability to lead credit discussions.
• Excellent communication, influencing and thought‑leadership capabilities.
