Vice President – Mid‑Corp Relationship Manager, Digital & Tech

About the role

Citi Commercial Bank is seeking a Vice President to lead relationship management for the Digital, Technology & Communications industry within the Mid‑Corp segment in Hong Kong. The role drives revenue growth, deepens client relationships and delivers tailored banking solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Drives revenue growth, cultivates deeper client relationships, and strategically acquires new clients for the Hong Kong Commercial Bank franchise.
• Introduces solutions to clients to build and strengthen an effective portfolio.
• Works with product specialists and subject‑matter experts to structure innovative, customized solutions that meet individual client needs.
• Ensures “Know Your Client” and other compliance deliverables are met.
• Identifies cross‑sell opportunities to deepen and increase share of wallet.
• Maximises client experience by proactively sharing market updates, trends and intelligence.
• Executes strategic initiatives launched centrally at all levels.
• Manages the credit relationship, coordinating the entire process and applying policies and institutional procedures.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and Citi’s policies/guidelines at all times.
• Assesses risk when making business decisions, safeguarding the firm’s reputation and assets.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of professional experience, preferably in commercial or corporate banking relationship management.
• Experience leading or managing within the Digital, Technology & Communications sector is an advantage.
• Sound knowledge of banking and investment products and the ability to provide solid financial advice.
• Demonstrated credit skills, capable of structuring complex deals, including capital market transactions.
• Proven ability to work effectively in team settings and coordinate multi‑functional teams.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills, including negotiation and consultative abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure while making sound decisions and prioritising key tasks.
• Proactive approach to strengthening business relationships and delivering innovative client solutions.
• Comfort with new technology and understanding of its role in client experience.
• Fluent in Mandarin is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
