Commercial Manager – Vision Care (Hong Kong)

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead Sales and Marketing for its Vision Care franchise in Hong Kong. The role drives brand and channel strategies, maximises sales, and expands market share while championing Alcon’s vision of helping people see brilliantly.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the Vision Care franchise champion, creating focus and enthusiasm internally and with external customers and agencies.
• Lead portfolio strategy and deliver P&L goals by identifying critical success factors, monitoring brand metrics, and taking corrective actions.
• Manage product pipeline and portfolio innovation, coordinating with internal regulatory affairs and external bodies.
• Execute franchise marketing and demand‑generation plans in line with International Marketing guidelines, overseeing A&P and sample budgets.
• Drive omni‑channel engagement initiatives, including search, CRM, and e‑commerce.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with local, regional, and international commercial and enabling teams.
• Develop and implement go‑to‑market and sales execution strategies for key customers in optometry, modern trade, e‑commerce, and white‑space channels.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading sales and marketing functions for a healthcare or vision‑care franchise.
• Strong understanding of customer and patient needs, brand metrics, and market dynamics.
• Ability to work with regulatory bodies and manage product innovation timelines.
• Experience in budgeting, demand generation, and omni‑channel marketing.
• Excellent collaboration skills with cross‑functional and external partners.
