Mobile Developer - Android (Cantonese Speaking)

About the role

Appnovation Technologies is looking for a Mobile Developer to design and build high‑quality Android applications while collaborating with cross‑functional teams in Hong Kong. The role involves creating new features, maintaining existing apps, and ensuring optimal performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop mobile applications for Android (and iOS) platforms.
• Collaborate with product, design, and QA teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications to improve performance and user experience.
• Integrate apps with backend services using XML, JSON, SOAP, and Web Services.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise code for performance and usability.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, MIS or equivalent.
• 2+ years of experience in system design and mobile application development.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent communication in Cantonese and English.

Required skills

• Java and Kotlin development for production Android apps.
• Experience with Flutter, SQL, XML, JSON, SOAP and Web Services.
• Familiarity with Swift, Objective‑C, React Native is a plus.
